About Us

Parking Lot Management
No lot is too great or too small.  Whether we are managing a 2,750 stall museum garage complex, a 156 stall multi-level condominuim garage, or 12 stalls at a Baskin Robins, Chicago Parking Management, Inc. is the #1 choice for business owners and managers.

We only hire fully-screened personnel and experienced Lot Managers.

Parking Lot Maintenance
Chicago Parking Management, Inc. takes pride in running a "tight-ship".  "Our understanding is that, if we don't look good, you don't look good... and that's why we strive to make all of our customers look great."  Proper lot maintenance guided by daily check-list procedures is what makes CPMi #1 in the industry.

"Our understanding is that, if we don't look good, you don't look good... and that's why we strive to make all our customers look great."

Parking Enforcement - Vehicle Immobilization
CPMi specializes in vehicle immobilization.  The benefits to Vehicle Immobilization over towing are quite simple.  First, the vehicle is not moved which automatically reduces your liability when a mistake is made by the tow company. Second, the violator pays right away and does not have to travel to get the vehicle. Third, 78% of (retail lot) violators illegally park for twelve minutes or less, allowing them plenty of time to park illegally and exit before the tow truck arrives.  Fourth, the income generated from violations offset the cost of lot maintenance and / or repair.

The Immobilization Process

  1. An agreement is signed by both parties.
  2. Local Government, Chief of Police and Retail Tenants are notified.
  3. Warning signs are posted and operations begin.
  4. The Spotter tracks the Violator until he/she exits the property and/or enters a business not listed on the sign.
  5. The "wheel-lock" is attached to the vehicle along with a violation notice.
  6. The Violator returns and is approached by the Lot Manager.
  7. The Lot Manager explains the violation and immobilization fee (typically $115).
  8. The Violator has the option to pay with Cash, Visa, or Mastercard.
  9. Payment is accepted and Violator is informed of the appeal process.
  10. The "wheel-lock" is removed and the Violator exits the property.
